Military Friendly Schools in Delaware

The state of Delaware is host to one military installation. That installation is Dover AFB, which is the home of the 436th Military Airlift Wing (MAW). The 436th MAW is the only all C-5 base in the Air Mobility Command. Delaware is a great place to be stationed. The state has many great beaches and other great places to visit such as Wilmington, Dover, Newark, Pike Creek, Bear, and Brookside. It is also located near many major metropolitan areas, such as Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, and Baltimore, MD. Even New York City is only about a three-hour drive away. In addition, there are several military friendly colleges in Delaware and within driving distance, so it is a perfect place to utilize the GI Bill and start earning a degree.
